Motivation

Budgies evoke exciting questions regarding vocalization from the motor learning community, as a step forward towards understanding human behavior. To address the question of behavioral learning, it is imperative to build and maintain a dictionary of budgie behaviors and, on a smaller scale, sub-behaviors that can be rearranged into different, larger timescale behaviors. Thus, with the guidance of Mert Sabuncu and Jesse Goldberg, I began to build a pipeling that would enable such a basis to be constructed.
